Winterland Ascona

From November 2, 2026, to January 6, 2027, Ascona transforms into an enchanting winter destination, where the charm of the village and the lake blend with lights, ice, and fine dining.

At the heart of Winterland Ascona is the 600-meter Ice Promenade, a unique experience that lets you skate right along the lakefront, while in Piazza Torre, the Lake Dome—a transparent structure 20 meters in diameter—becomes Ascona’s gathering place for events, socializing, and culinary delights.

The program features musical performances, entertainment, and street food, in addition to the winter events already on Ascona’s calendar.

To complete the atmosphere, the artistic lighting of about 30 buildings in the village transforms Ascona into a spectacular light display.
